On July 28th, the lush fairways of Cataraqui Golf and Country Club will once again come alive with purpose, passion and pink as the 28th Annual Rose of Hope Golf Tournament swings into action.

Last year, the TakeAway & Recycle Golf Tournament beat their record and donated an incredible $10,770 to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through University Hospitals Kingston Foundation!

This year, they need your help to continue this legacy of community impact!

Several years ago, Ryan Marley was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. The Marley family was inspired to do more in the fight against cancer and started their annual Marley Fights Fore Leukemia Golf Tournament.

Help fight prostate cancer!

In 2019, Mike Laframboise directly benefited from the generosity of donors when he had prostate cancer surgery. Doctors used a da Vinci Surgical System (a robotic-assisted surgical machine that is less invasive and leads to quicker recover times than traditional prostate surgeries) that was recently purchased thanks to donor support.

Hundreds of cars, spanning almost every era of automobile history, will be on display at the Kingston Memorial Centre Fairgrounds this August.

The 29th Annual Kilometres for Kids - Run/Walk/Roll race will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, this year! 

Established in 2004, the Kingston-Quinte Motorcycle Ride for Dad chapter has raised over $1.6 million dollars for the fight against prostate cancer. 

The proceeds from their annual events are invested in ground-breaking prostate cancer research and life-saving public awareness campaigns of the disease and the importance of early detection.

The 2026 Row Off: Battle of the Gyms is just around the corner on Saturday, April 25th!

UFit Kingston's Row Off: Battle of the Gyms brings together local fitness communities for a little friendly competition and a lot of heart. Teams of four will take on a 12,000m row, with each athlete completing 3,000m, racing for the fastest time and bragging rights.

UHKF's Circle of Care series is a free opportunity for community members to engage with and hear from leading medical experts on rising health concerns, advice on how to stay healthy, advancements in care, breakthrough medical research and more.

Bobby Salt was born on February 12, 2024, at 4:57 p.m. at Belleville General Hospital. He was born not breathing and experienced a seizure during his first hour of life. Due to this complication, he was rushed to the Kingston NICU just a few hours after birth. "Since I had just given birth, I was unable to accompany him to Kingston and had to remain at the hospital in Belleville. My husband, Nick, followed Bobby’s ambulance to Kingston and was able to reunite with him after his initial tests were completed," said Bobby's mom, Hannah Salt.
