"Giving back each year is our way of saying thank you. It’s how we honour the babies who fought bravely, support the families currently facing that same journey. Every dollar raised is a promise, that no family walks this path alone, and that love, community, and compassion are always there, even in the hardest moments"

Cale Gordon Cook was born into this world at 29 weeks old on May 3rd, 2022. His parents, Brock and Brittany Cook, were terrified and surprised by his eagerness and determination to arrive so early. The kind and compassionate staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre went above and beyond to support the Cook’s during these trying times. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staff sent photos, made crafts with the babies foot prints, called to check in, listened and reassured Brittany and Brock of Cale’s health and well-being every step of the way. They whole-heartedly help families while their babies are in their care and to be prepared for when they’re home. These NICU babies, mamas and daddies are all in the best hands with this incredible staff.

Cale is now 3 years old. He is a fun loving, energetic and kind toddler who loves being outside. He is very excited to participate at the 4th Annual TakeAway & Recycle Golf Tournament on August 16

This is the Cook Family’s way of giving back to the NICU community and the phenomenal unit!
