On July 29, the lush fairways of Cataraqui Golf and Country Club will once again come alive with purpose, passion and pink as the 27th Annual Rose of Hope Golf Tournament swings into action.
After raising more than $3.5 million over its storied history—including an incredible $1 million in just three years to fund a new breast-dedicated MRI machine for Breast Imaging Kingston—this year’s tournament sets its sights on an even more ambitious goal.
Goal: Establishing the Rose of Hope Clinical Chair in Breast Health at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC).
More than a piece of equipment, the Clinical Chair is a visionary role that will elevate every aspect of breast cancer care in southeastern Ontario.
“It’s about changing the entire system for women,” says Rose of Hope committee member Sherri McCullough, who is also the chair of the KHSC Board of Directors. “Faster screening, better navigation, stronger care pathways, better follow-up—and more survivors.”
