Door-to-Door Campaign Activity in Kingston

Canvassers talking to a person on their doorstep.

University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) and the healthcare partners it supports (Providence Care and Kingston Health Sciences Centre) have received inquiries about the legitimacy of recent door-to-door canvassers.

UHKF would like to remind the public that it is hosting a door-to-door campaign at the moment. They are trained, professional canvassers visiting neighbourhoods throughout Kingston as part of the monthly donor campaign, in partnership with GlobalFaces Direct.

These official canvassers carry UHKF identification badges, wear UHKF vests and will never ask for cash or PayPal donations. To process donations, UHKF canvassers use tablets with encrypted software to collect personal and financial information in a secure manner. All the data collected is immediately uploaded to remote servers, processed and then completely removed from the tablet.

If any Kingston community members are unsure about a canvasser, please call GlobalFaces Direct toll-free at 1-833-341-0106 to verify.

The door-to-door campaign raises much-needed funds for Providence Care and Kingston Health Sciences Centre. These donations make a difference in the lives and health of Kingston and southeastern Ontario residents
