Mending Hearts with Declyn Lemonade Stand

Kingston

In Declyn’s memory, a lemonade stand is run annually to raise awareness about AVSD and to support pediatric cardiology at Kingston Health Sciences Centre!

The Mending Hearts with Declyn Lemonade Stand with Asher and Move Radio hosts.

Mending Hearts with Declyn is a fundraising effort in honour of Declyn Michael Carman. Declyn was born with a congenital heart defect, called atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) Complete. Sadly, on January 3rd, 2022, Declyn passed away at just 3 months old.

In Declyn’s memory, Declyn’s older siblings, Ryder, and Jordyn along with their best friend Grady host this lemonade stand to raise awareness about AVSD and donate their proceeds to “Mending Hearts with Declyn” the profits go to pediatric cardiology at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and will help other Children who are born with Congenital Heart Defects get the care they need right here in Kingston.

"As we mourn our loss, it is important for us to think of other families who worry about what the future holds for their child. Our hope is for others to know who Declyn was and to keep his memory alive," said Declyn's family.

"Please come and get to know our son a bit, learn some interesting heart facts, and help other families get the care they need right here at home."

Donate in support!

We hope you have a chance to stop by the lemonade stand located at 1018 Old Colony Rd. on Saturday, August 2nd!
