Recently, the Carpenters’ Union Local 249 made a $10,000 donation to support the Robotic Surgery Program at KHSC, their largest gift to date! Previously, Local 249 has supported KHSC through their annual golf tournament, which raised funds for the Child Life Program in 2008 and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in 2014, 2019, 2023 and 2024.
This gift brings the groups' total donations to KHSC to $23,750!
We’re grateful to Local 249—not only for helping to build and renovate the spaces where care happens in our hospitals, but also for supporting the innovation unfolding inside them, like robotic surgery.
