John Raymond's Mission to Support Power of Hope
"My name is John Raymond, and I’m proud to support the 2026 Power of Hope Golf Tournament—an annual event raising vital funds for prostate cancer care at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC).
This cause is deeply personal to me.
As a prostate cancer survivor, I know firsthand how life can change in an instant. I’m here today because of the exceptional care I received at KGH. The expertise, compassion, and support of my healthcare team gave me hope when I needed it most—and ultimately saved my life.
Now, I want to give back.
My goal is to raise $5,000 by August 24 to help ensure that others facing a prostate cancer diagnosis have access to the same world-class care, innovative treatments, and leading-edge equipment that made all the difference in my journey.
Every donation—whether it's $25, $100, $500, or any amount you can give—helps support the doctors, nurses, and technology that are transforming lives across our region.
Please consider making a donation today and sharing this page with your family, friends, and network. Together, we can provide hope, advance care, and make a lasting difference for patients and families in our community."
Thank you for your generosity and support. It means more than words can express.
Help John reach his $5k goal by donating today!

Power of Hope
In only five years, the Power of Hope has raised more than $740,000 in support of KHSC’s surgical robotics program, which provides cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedures using small incisions (compared to traditional surgery) leading to shorter hospital stays, faster recovery and a quicker return to normal everyday activities.
