Mark your calendars! Tim Hortons Smile Cookie week is set to run from April 29 to May 5, 2024.

The popular and delicious fundraiser features a chocolate chunk cookie topped with an icing smile.

Each cookie costs $1.50 and every Tim Hortons in Kingston will be generously donating 100 per cent of the proceeds from Smile Cookie sales to child and youth mental health programs at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC).

“Everyone gets excited for the Smile Cookie campaign – from our local Tim Hortons managers and team members to our guests. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support our community,” says Sherri Agnew, a Kingston Tim Hortons restaurant owner. “The Smile Cookie campaign has grown dramatically and we are now part of a national Tim Hortons campaign that has raised more than $90 million for more than 600 local charities and organizations across Canada.”

This is the 21st year that the local Tim Hortons have designated the proceeds of Smile Cookie Week to KHSC.

Last year, thanks to the incredible commitment of local Tim Hortons team members and enthusiastic community support, the campaign raised a record $230,085, with funds also going to child and youth mental health at KHSC.

“Youth mental health services give struggling kids the tools to create a strong foundation which can lead to a healthy, happy and productive life,” says Nicholas Axas, Program Operational Director, Mental Health and Addiction Care at KHSC. “Funding these important programs is always a challenge so I want to thank Kingston-area Tim Hortons owners for their support and helping local youth and their families get the mental-health care they need to thrive.”
